New Qualcomm GPU could bring 2.5x performance to standalone XR

Last week, Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which will power premium Android smartphones next year. This SoC will reportedly be the foundation for the second-generation Snapdragon XR2, also known as Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 or Project Halliday, which specializes in VR and AR. Likewise, it is rumored that this chip will power Meta Quest 3, which will be released in 2023. Now we got our first benchmarks for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
